Profile synopsis: Editor will work with the research delivery team to create and finalize various client-ready materials, including research reports, articles, blogs, web content, white papers, case studies, etc.
Education: Preferably a degree in English, English Literature or Journalism. Candidates with degrees in Finance/Economics/Business/Accounting may also apply.
Experience: 5 plus years experience in an editing role, ideally in editing research reports -business research,Competitive intelligence, equity research, economic research, etc.
Job Description:
- Edit and proof-read research reports.
- Develop guidelines and processes for writing and editing.
- Ensure compliance with house style.
- Train and mentor analyst to improve their writing and editorial skills.
Competencies:
Must have:
- Excellent command over written and spoken English.
- Ability to check though flow,English and find inconsistencies in subject matter.
- Self-driven, takes initiatives.
- Experience in editing large reports(750 pages)
- Ability to plan and execute work within deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a team and teach others.
- Willingness to go beyond self to take on larger goals; Dependability; Attitude.
