Accounts Assistant

Profile synopsis: Maintain an efficient and accurate accounts and data entry records.

Education:

  • Any graduate
  • B. Com graduates will be preferred

Experience: 0 -1 year of work experience in Data entry or accounting.

Job Description:

  • Update excel databases and do other data entry jobs.
  • Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment.
  • Ensure voucher entries are done in tally in an accurate manner.
  • Deal with daily banking and accounts related activities outside office.
  • Prepare cheques and follow-up for payments.
  • Take care of all inward and outward post.

Competencies:
Must have:

  • Good typing skills (30-40 wpm).
  • Good knowledge of accounts and is familiar to Tally.
  • Good Microsoft word and Excel skills.
  • Good organization and administrative skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Self-driven, takes initiatives.
  • Ability to check the data thoroughly for errors.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to go beyond self to take on larger goals; Dependability; Attitude.

Good to have:

  • Good analytical skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute work within deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
